The pancreas is located deep in the abdomen and contains a high proportion of soft tissue. A highly malignant digestive system tumor can originate there, which conventional imaging examinations often fail to detect. With poor prognosis and rapid deterioration, patients' survivorship within a year after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer barely meets 1/4.
Zhongshan Hospital collaborated with us to expand ultra-high-field MRI to all parts of the body for the first time in the industry. The two parties launched a series of clinical trials using the world's first 5.0T MRI and reached a turning point in precision diagnosis of diseases in various parts of the body. Compared with 3.0T, 5.0T MRI has produced better images of abdominal organs, pushing the precision diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and other severe diseases to new heights.
The collaboration saw the 5.0T MRI continue to push the boundaries of ultra-high field MRI in clinical and scientific research by generating higher-quality images with more comprehensive details and more accurate quantitative analysis. The 5.0T MR will significantly contribute to the precise diagnosis of the nervous system, knee joint system, abdominal diseases, as well as diseases related to the heart and systemic blood vessels.
